STRATEGIES DON'T DRIVE PEOPLE, PEOPLE DRIVE STRATEGIES

If you think a good strategy is enough to take people on board, – think again. People make or break strategies. In other words, people are the determining factor. Understanding what drives people and what holds them back is half the job. The rest is a matter of details. Though without a strategy you loose very quickly the interest of motivated people.
There are three predominant reasons why people will not drive a strategy.
They don't understand it
They don't feel good about it and feel to vunlerable
They have a different opinion about the way to go
Each of these cases requires a different approach and different type of internal communication.
If you treat these three groupes the same, failure is eminent.
It is not the best strategy that will win in the end, but the one that has the broadest support.
